In the run-up to the European elections and discussions on EU policies post-2027, the MOVING project is co-organising with the ELIF Community on Territorial Development a webinar entitled “Towards a policy roadmap for vibrant mountain economies” scheduled for 8 May 2024 from 10:00 to 12:00. This online event will reflect on the future of EU policy-making and its priorities, echoing the voices of over 900 mountain stakeholders consulted by the MOVING project. These stakeholders will share their experiences with a view to better integrating mountain issues into the EU’s political agenda.

Experts attending the webinar will share their perspectives on trends and proposals that could shape post-2027 policy developments in EU mountain areas. In this respect, the MOVING project will present its proposal for strategic options and a policy roadmap to ensure the inclusion of rural and mountain areas in the future policy development of the EU. Our Director Guillaume Corradino will be taking part in a round table to share his thoughts on the MOVING policy roadmap.

The webinar will provide an opportunity to validate and enrich these proposals, which will then be presented at the MOVING project’s final conference, scheduled for 13 and 14 June in Brussels, Belgium.
