Joint open letter on the future EU’s Multiannual Financial Framework

Together with 27 other EU agrifood organisations, we have sent a joint letter to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and & Commissioner Piotr Serafin to express our concern on the next MFF. Our concerns focus on:

• The consequences of the proposed simplification of European funding, which means no more targeting of key policies like the CAP
• The possible fragmentation of the Single Market
• The increasing burden that creating national plans would cause.
