The Convention covered a wide range of topics relevant for the future of mountain economies, from the promotion of agrifood products to the transition of tourism, the creation of businesses or the digital transition of the economy.
The Declaration includes:
- A statement of the current and future challenges for mountain economies that were identified by participants
- A commitment towards sustainable, prosperous and resilient mountain economies
- A set of recommendations to European, national and regional institutions to which Euromontana commits itself in order to shape the mountain economies of tomorrow.
