FAQ

How long will registration be open?

Registration will be open until early-October (subject to availability, the organisers reserve the right to close registration earlier).

Is it compulsory to take part in the study visits?

It is not compulsory to take part in the study visits on 15 October; you can come for the conference only. Please indicate on the registration form whether you will be attending the study visits or not. We also ask you to choose your study visit carefully when you register, as we cannot guarantee that it will be possible to change it at a later date. Note: If you are a member of Euromontana or NEMOR, you should choose the visit to Cerdanya (09.00 – 15.00), which will bring you back to Puigcerdà on time for the General Assemblies of Euromontana and NEMOR, taking place on the afternoon of 15 October.

What is included in the registration fee?

The conference registration fee covers some of the logistical costs of the event, such as interpretation, study visits and the meals explicitly mentioned in the programme. They do not cover travel and accommodation costs.

How can I pay the registration fee?

You can pay the registration fee by credit card at the end of the registration process or request to pay by bank transfer. You will be sent an invoice for payment with the bank transfer reference number to be used.

I haven't received the invoice to proceed with my payment, who should I contact?

If you have not received the invoice for your registration, please check your spam folder. If you have not received anything, please contact euromontana2024@manners.es.

I haven't received the registration confirmation email, who should I contact?

If you have not received the automatic registration confirmation email, please check your spam folder. You can also use the email address and password you used to register to check the status of your registration and the sessions you have selected. If you are experiencing any problems, please contact euromontana2024@manners.es.

How do I organise my trip to the Convention?

Puigcerdà is situated in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees. It is easily accessible from both France and Barcelona. The different means of transport available to get to Puigcerdà are detailed on the Practical information webpage. On the same webpage, you will also find hotel recommendations.

What is the Convention's target audience?

The European Mountain Conventions are a major networking event for mountain stakeholders from all over Europe. The Conventions typically attract hundreds of experts and stakeholders from different sectors across Europe. All mountain stakeholders are welcome to join the Convention. Participants usually include, among others, representatives of European, national, regional and local public authorities, farming and environmental organisations, regional development agencies, universities and research centres or Local Action Groups.
