The International Mountain Conference is coming to Europe in Innsbruck, Austria from 14 to 18 September 2025! The 2025 edition builds on previous conferences and aims to continue this series of scientific conferences devoted exclusively to mountains. Held in the Alps, the conference offers an excellent opportunity for experts from different disciplines to discuss mountain-related issues in an interdisciplinary setting with flexible session formats. The main objectives of the conference are to synthesise and improve our understanding of mountain systems, in particular their response and resilience to global change.

Dozens of sessions with different formats will be organised, notably by our MountResilience project, our members of UNIMONT, NEMOR and the Mountain Research Initiative!

The call for abstracts is open until 20 February 2025. Registration will open on 7 April to 15 May 2025!
