Euromontana launches its database of good practices for the sustainable development of European mountains
To start the new year, Euromontana is launching its new database of good practices! The tool allows users to discover good practices driving change and sustainable development in mountain areas across Europe. It currently covers more than 15 countries and over a dozen themes, allowing you to explore inspiring initiatives in areas such as pastoralism, climate change, nature conservation or rural development.
Browse the tool to find out how mobile health services can support pregnant women or older adults in mountain areas, how LEADER funds can promote local culinary heritage, how municipalities can implement low-carbon mobility plans or tourism flow management strategies, or how ski resorts can make the transition to year-round tourism models.
Practices published by Euromontana in previous years are currently being added to the database and new inspiring ones will be published every month, so stay tuned!
Promote your initiative on the database
This new platform aims to be inclusive and useful for communities across Europe, so we would be pleased to include your initiative in the database!
We do not have a strict selection process, but we want to publish good practices that have a concrete positive impact on the territory and are transferable to other mountain areas.
Do not hesitate, submit your initiative!
