Euromontana promotes the exchange of good practices and shares inspiring initiatives from different mountain areas in Europe. Euromontana's 2022 good practice booklet marks the International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development.
This publication presents 17 inspiring initiatives from all over Europe (EU and non-EU), collected by Euromontana to promote initiatives that support sustainable development in mountain areas.
The brochure covers key issues relevant to sustainable development in Europe’s mountains, from agriculture and rural development to daily mobility, sustainable mountain tourism, energy transition and innovative education in mountain villages.
It aims to provide inspiration on practices, ideas or even funding sources, and to encourage their transfer and adaptation in other regions.
